Chitabe Camp is situated in a private concession area on a beautiful island in the south east of the Okavango Delta. It has all the Okavango scenery – open floodplains, waterways, marshlands, dry acacia,mopane woodland, riverine areas and open grasslands. This variety of habitats is home to an abundance of wildlife. Activities include day and night game drives in open 4×4 vehicles, walks and spectacular birdwatching. Chitabe’s eight spacious Meru-style tents are built on elevated wooden decks amongst the trees. Each tent has en-suite facilities and indoor as well as an outdoor shower. The lounge and dining areas are under thatch and on raised wooden decks. The camp swimming pool is positioned to allow uninterrupted views over the floodplain.
