Chobe Chilwero borders the Chobe National Park, which is the second largest national park in Botswana covering an area of 10,566 Km2. Chilwero, means “place of high view” in the local language of Setswana. The lodge sits above the Chobe River and offers unparalleled panoramic views across the island and flood plains as far as Namibia. Accommodation is in 15 bungalowseach with its own en-suite bathroom with modern bath, indoor and outdoor showers, private garden with hammock, “sala” or private balcony, mosquito nets, ceiling fans, air-conditioning, hairdryer, minibar as well as an in-room safe.
